After securing his
undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Cincinnati, Jim went on to earn a Masters Degree
from the University of Kentucky and a PHD from the University of
Pittsburg. His occupational history included a stint at the
Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, and he spent over 30 years as a
Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of
Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati.
After retirement, Jim
decided on acrylic painting as his hobby, his engineering and
geometrical skills permeate his art.
